We got home after 90 minutes in rush-hour traffic (hello Fall) to the comfort of our home and my daughter cried “We’ve got snails!” In our fish tank, there are five small snails traveling all around eating the now growing algae. They just appeared! My guess is that they came in on the Elodea as babies, and have now grown to visible size. I wonder how big they will get?
And WTF about Britney losing custody of her children! I hope K-Fed hires a good, stable Nanny to help those little boys. Many women with addiction problems hit “bottom” when they have their kids taken away. I’m hoping that this will be a wake-up call to poor Brit, and that she gets back on the straight and narrow road to wellness.
On an unrelated note, I just got the new Cat Empire CD Single mailed to me from Leesa in Melbourne. I can’t wait to listen to it. She also sent me some autographed album covers. Yummy.

How big depends on the variety of snail, but most will only grow to the size of their environment.
