I am so excited by the presence of new media combined with poetry. Poetry is becoming more mainstream and almost “cool.” I find this extremely comforting. Thanks Sambycat for the link. I wish you lived in closer to me, darling girl, so we could go spend some time together.

Here is a link to my Flickr photo recipe set on making my favourite candied yams for Christmas. Yams are a welcome addition to any table. Yams are an excellent source of potassium, vitamin C, B6, folate, iron and magnesium.
