I woke up early this morning due to heavy snowfall. I love to listen to the “growing list of school closures” on CBC radio while I tuck my head deeper and deeper under the covers. Alas, my school district, Vancouver, remains open. So I decided to get up and check my feeds, email, and Facebook. I am happy to report that Blog Wars have broken-out here in Vancouver. Next month is the Northern Voice conference, and the excitement is building. I’m thrilled to be involved with the conference this year; I’ll be organizing some sweet door prizes and an open-mic presentation for the Tiki-Dinner.
