Though a minor role for Quinn, Koner is played with all the angst of the recovering people of Winterfell. Quinn also plays Koner with a level of fear, as he is reluctant to tell Sansa about the arrival of Arya. Quinn only appeared in this particular episode of Game of Thrones, and it came before he blew up with Stranger Things, so many fans were unaware that he even starred in Game of Thrones in the first place.

Make Up is a British psychological thriller where a woman named Ruth goes on an obsessive road of discovery prompted when she suspects her boyfriend is cheating. This all started when Ruth found a strand of red hair on her pillow. As she dives deeper, she begins to unravel, crossing paths with an attractive woman with whom she starts to have an affair. The unraveling continues to an unhealthy level for their relationship, invoking horror vibes similar to the film Carrie.
The story, though unique and metaphorically layered, comes off a little far-fetched. Quinn also doesn't have enough screen time, but shines during the limited time that he has. While it's not an audience favorite, the film was a critical success and once again showcased a flawless performance by Quinn.

Quinn portrays Grunauer, the German-translating bilingual American Soldier. His role is mostly contained in the aircraft headed to their destination point in Overlord, which is unfortunately gunned down soon after. Unfortunately, another character in the film mentions finding Grunauer's body on the ground later in the film. This wouldn't be Quinn's only on-screen death in his career.

Audience Score | 63% |
Hoard is a movie about a foster teen named Maria who had a hoarding mother, which led to traumatic events in her childhood. A decade later, she lives in a foster home and rediscovers her traumatic memories by looking through dumpsters and revisiting some of her mother's hoarding notions from her childhood. She does so with Michael, who seems infatuated with Maria, though she is quite young. The film was critically astounding, giving it an almost flawless Rotten Tomatoes score.

Joseph Quinn's performance opposite Saura Lightoot-Leon perfectly displays the strange drive to face one's past, even when it comes with baggage and chaos. Quinn's character, Michael, helps Maria confront the trauma from her past, but lingers on in a way that an older male shouldn't with a teenager. Michael was a former foster child of Maria's foster mother. Quinn spoke about his character to RadioTimes, saying, "He’s a duplicitous, adulterous, manipulative guy, but he’s insane. Because he’s madly in love."

Dickensian was a way to bring all of Charles Dickens' many characters into one dramatic series. The show follows "Bleak House" character Investigator Bucket on the search for Jacob Marley's killer. Jacob is a character from A Christmas Carol who worked alongside Ebenezer Scrooge. While the investigation unfolds, Arthur Havisham, played by Quinn, struggles with the hold on his potential inheritance. Quinn's character was originally from Dickens' other book "Great Expectations."

Joseph Quinn plays Arthur with subtlety, keeping in mind how weak and bitter his character is toward his sister for inheriting what should've been his. Quinn auditioned for the role while still in school at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. At the end of the series, Quinn portrays the complexity of a defeated man, who becomes an alcoholic and ultimately dies by suicide.

Based on the best-selling novels J.K. Rowling wrote under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, C.B. Strike is a series about a war veteran turned private detective. Quinn plays a man with schizophrenia, Billy Knight, who is looking for help in a murder that he may have witnessed. He breaks into Strike's office but has some difficulties explaining what he saw. Like his character in Stranger Things, he is complicated but just trying to do the right thing. While the role only spanned for one episode of the series, Quinn's performance as Billy showcases his talent. His character displays a different range of emotions and personalities, from erratic to quite calm.

Howards End is based on E.M. Forster's novel of the same name, portraying England toward the start of the 1900s. It follows three separate families that showcase different classes of society. Quinn plays Leonard Bast, who is in the family within the working class. As expected, the three different families' interactions bring complications due to their different social and class status.
Quinn stars opposite Hayley Atwell and Matthew MacFadyen. He plays Leonard with grace and demonstrates the many internal conflicts through his sometimes stoic character. Leonard deals with poor health and has an affair that exacerbates his health problems from guilt. Leonard eventually succumbs to a terrible fate in the final episode, but every step of the way is made compelling by Quinn.

Les Misérables has been adapted numerous times, but the 2018 television series adaptation fleshed out the epic novel a little further than the movie from 2012 did. Adapted by the BBC network, the story chronicles Victor Hugo's book on the inequality in France during the French Revolution in a six-episode miniseries. The show features Olivia Colman, David Oyelowo, Dominic West, and Lily Collins. In Les Misérables, Quinn portrays Enjolras, a man willing to die for his beliefs.
Like the many adaptations of Les Misérables, there are countless portrayals of Enjolras. But Quinn brought a nuanced intensity to the character. He gracefully conveys the kindhearted nature and charisma of Enjolras while demonstrating his passion for his country. The strength displayed in his portrayal makes it no surprise that he got cast to play a superhero in Marvel.

A Quiet Place: Day One is the third installment in the A Quiet Place franchise, and it lives up to the original film. It explored the first day of the alien invasion in New York City. Chaos unfolds after what seems like a meteor shower. But what has actually fallen from the sky are sound-seeking creatures crashing down to earth. The city that never sleeps must grind to a halt for survival.

Quinn plays Eric, an English law student studying in New York to become a lawyer. Initially, Eric is a very skittish character, following Sam, the main protagonist, like a lost puppy. She tries to send him away, as she has her specific motivations in the apocalypse. Quinn plays this role similarly to Eddie Munson from Stranger Things, who is quite fearful of the unfolding events until the end. As for Eric, he isn't the hero, but he proves himself brave by the end of the movie. Quinn plays this character superbly well and provides a beautiful arc of growth in such a short time.

Stranger Things is one of Netflix's most popular shows, and it introduces new stories and characters with each season. An instant fan favorite was Eddie Munson, portrayed by Quinn. Initially accused of killing another character in the show, Eddie hides out until the main protagonists realize he's likely innocent. They go to help a terrified Eddie, who doesn't want to do anything out of fear for his own life. By the end of the series, that all changes, and Eddie goes down as the sacrificial hero of season four.
